In-grade components under continuous attack from moisture, caustic fertilizers, soluble minerals, and ultra-violet radiation from HID lamps, are made from a choice of solid bronze or high strength glass reinforced composite. Above-grade components subject to flooding, chemical attack, debris covering the lens, vandalism, and UV bombardment from the sun, are solid heavy castbronze and double strength glass. Housings and internal components will perform with minimal maintenance; with seals engineered to perform flawlessly, sealing tight after re-lamping. Kim made no compromises in the design of the Lightvault family of products. Because of this, Kim offers no excuses, producing an in-grade family of product with no equals.
