Eaton Environmental monitoring probe is used to remotely monitor environmental conditions. It features a standard web browser that provides a view of ambient temperature and humidity of the remote environment. Probe also provides status of the smoke detector or open door sensor contact device. It operates at an ambient temperature of -20 to 80 deg C. Probe auto-sends alarms through email, PCS phone/pager. It has a relative humidity of 10 - 90%. It sends SNMP alarms to network management systems. Probe holds user-defined thresholds for temperature, humidity and contact closure status. It can display status on web page, IP phone/PDA and network management system. It can be located 20 m far from UPS. It also helps to shutdown the affected equipments. Probe can work with any Eaton UPS/Connect UPS web/SNMP card. It measures 2.260 Inch x 1.480 Inch x 1.150 Inch and can transfer data up to 100 Mbps. It has a data link protocol of Ethernet/fast Ethernet. Probe provides a connectivity of 1 x 100 Base-TX - RJ-45 and interface of 2 x 2.
